Alot of people have asked that question and the reason is this: Just like his Royal King and Knight ancestors, Prince Jordan is a very skillful, powerful and masterful observer or everything. He does not miss a beat. He even sees invisible things nobody else sees. Yes (these are ancient skills.)  Therefore, why does he dress or look like that? 

Because he was creating content. He already been a macho man, He wanted to create a more TV freindly look. a more peaceful look. Because by nature Prince family are EXTREMLY POWERFUL / ROYAL KINGS AND ROYAL KNIGHTS.  He cannot hide those facts. They shine through him like sunlight. So he was simply trying to water down those powerful looks. The result was a happy medium, but in some cases may have been a lil too effeminate.
