Lord Edward Crouchback (Plantagenet)
The Royal House of Plantagenet had a very well respected Cadet Branch- named the “House of Lancaster,” whos founder leader is the very “peaceful” and “humble” Lord Edward “Cross back” (aka) “Crouchback” That same leader is King Henry III, “lesser known son” that famously declined offers to be King. Instead, Lord Edward, positioned himself as a “role model” / “fashion designer” for his Plantagenet family. He literally stitched his own way into world history by making hand sewn., “Christian Crosses” into his own clothing. Those acts earned him the respected name of: “CROSS-BACK.” He was so “Pure” “Holy” and “Righteous,” everyone in the Royal house agreed: “He was the only Lord worthy of wearing a Cross!” his other sur-names: Plantagenet (aka) De-Clifford (aka) Norman. – (Yes he is one of Prince Jordans Great Grandfathers.)
Lord Edward, (married and had children) with: Queen Blanche of Artois. She was also the “Queen of Navarre” and “Countess of Champagne“ and niece to: “King Lois IX” of FRANCE.” (The Royal couple, only had two surviving children.) today there are only “5ooo” remaining descendants (Prince Jordan is one of them.) When Lord Edmund passed in 1296, (Their) estates remained within the Plantagenet family. However in 1461; by order of “King Henry IV Plantagenet.” The House of Lancaster,” AND all of Lord Edward and Blanche, monies and properties went into a special bank account called the Duchy of Lancaster; Today the Duchy has a total net worth of about $685 million. The Duchy was ordered to be held separate from the crown to ensure future Plantagenet descendants.
