From the tender age of eight  to ten years old. The baby Prince lived in this upscale neighborhood (at the time,) it was a very suburban successful white neighborhood. This  Town House is where he lived for two years, while attending Bancroft Elementary school which was only a few  short blocks away. That school is where he began to write books, jokes and won a big spelling bee competition.

He also started and created his own clubs at school, took part in fund raisers, and  he got to stay the night at on several occasions, all the students got to bring sleeping bags and watch movies like (Rikki-Tikk-Tavi)  with all of their friends.
