THE FILM

SEA OF LIARS is a psychological legal thriller told through the perspective of Prince Jordan Tyson, a former firefighter and public servant whose life begins to unravel after a mysterious illness, a family crisis, and a series of events that convince him he has become trapped inside a system where truth no longer matters.

The film asks one terrifying question:

If enough people tell the same story, does it become reality?

PROLOGUE

SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

DECEMBER 2003

A fire engine races through the darkness.

Inside sits PRINCE JORDAN TYSON, firefighter, first responder, public servant.

He is respected.

He is trusted.

He has survived everything life has thrown at him.

Then suddenly:

He collapses.

ACT ONE

THE ILLNESS

Prince’s life begins to unravel.

He suffers:

  • unexplained illnesses,

  • repeated emergency room visits,

  • severe physical symptoms,

  • confusion,

  • exhaustion.

Doctors cannot agree on what is wrong.

Medications multiply.

Questions multiply.

Prince begins documenting everything.

His world becomes increasingly unstable.

Yet everyone around him insists:

“You’re going to be okay.”

Prince no longer believes them.

ACT TWO

THE STRANGERS

Trying to regain some sense of normalcy, Prince attends a public event.

There, he encounters several strangers who appear unusually interested in him.

At first, he welcomes the attention.

Soon, however, he feels trapped.

Phone calls become constant.

Visits become frequent.

Pressure mounts.

Prince attempts to leave.

But he increasingly feels that forces outside his control are dictating his life.

The audience is left asking:

Is Prince being manipulated?

Or:

Is Prince becoming unable to trust his own perceptions?

ACT THREE

HOME

Prince returns to his family home.

What he discovers there horrifies him.

He becomes convinced that someone he loves is in danger.

He immediately acts.

He contacts authorities.

He files reports.

He petitions courts.

He believes the truth will protect him.

Instead, his actions trigger a chain reaction.

ACT FOUR

THE COUNTERATTACK

Suddenly:

  • accusations appear,

  • witnesses emerge,

  • court proceedings begin,

  • relationships collapse.

People Prince trusted now speak against him.

Prince becomes increasingly isolated.

Every attempt to defend himself appears only to make things worse.

He realizes:

He is no longer fighting one person.

He is fighting an entire narrative.

ACT FIVE

HOLLYWOOD

Just when everything seems lost, Prince receives an opportunity.

A film production company hires him to work on a motion picture.

For the first time in years:

He feels hope.

He moves to Los Angeles.

He walks onto a movie set.

He begins imagining a new future.

Then one afternoon:

Police arrive.

The dream ends.

ACT SIX

THE TRIAL

The courtroom becomes a battlefield.

Prince watches:

  • judges recuse themselves,

  • witnesses testify,

  • attorneys negotiate,

  • systems operate around him.

He becomes convinced that nobody can see the truth anymore.

Not because they refuse.

Because they cannot.

The audience experiences the same uncertainty Prince experiences:

What is true?

What is memory?

What is manipulation?

What is survival?

ACT SEVEN

THE SEA OF LIARS

Years later.

Boxes fill a room.

Court transcripts.

Medical records.

Photographs.

Letters.

Evidence.

Memories.

Prince sits alone.

He reviews everything.

He no longer seeks revenge.

He no longer seeks victory.

He seeks only one thing:

Understanding.

He realizes the most terrifying truth of all:

Every person involved believed they were telling the truth.

Yet somehow:

Everything was destroyed.

FINAL SCENE

Prince walks onto an empty baseball field at sunset.

He carries a worn leather baseball.

On it are written three words:

SEA OF LIARS

He places it gently on home plate.

He turns.

And walks away.

The camera remains.

Silence.

Fade to black.
