GENE rose to fame; via an “OFFICAL” UNITED STATES NAVY PRESS BOOK entitled: “The Raft” -published over 12 times (recently 2022.) Additionally he became the subject of a Major Hollywood Movie -“Against the Sun” (2016). Grandson Prince was given “Rolling” {US NAVY CREDITS} as Producer: TJ TYSON ALDRICH
The Navy cross is the Second Highest Award given to US Navy.
After Gene ALDRICH saved three lives; The men “complimented” their {“Superior”} Harold Dixon as he accepted The “US Navy hero Cross” from Admiral Nemitz. “
Famous Names:
Prince Jordans (birth name) Is a direct result of of this event. Gene and Tony promised, (if they lived) they would name their children after one another. That promise became proof. The result is a combination of both names; TONY (AKA) ANTHONY ALDRICH
* Prince was mentioned in one version of this book; “as a baby in his mothers belly” (approximately page 210). That version of the book was published and written, in 1972 or 1973. Yes, Prince was famous, in print, before he was even born.
Prince had several fathers attached to US Navy! (Left to Right) Jim Weise, Tony Aldrich , Ron Walters.
