SAINT POPE JOHN PAUL II — World Youth Day, Denver, Colorado (October 1993)
In October 1993, Prince Jordan Tyson and his wife attended the historic World Youth Day celebration in Denver, Colorado, presided over by Saint Pope John Paul II. At the time, Prince’s wife was nine months pregnant with their daughter, Kaitlyn, making this extraordinary spiritual journey an especially meaningful and once-in-a-lifetime family experience.
Only a few days after receiving a blessing from Saint Pope John Paul II, their daughter Kaitlyn was born—a cherished and lifelong reminder of this joyous and deeply significant Christian occasion.
To celebrate the arrival of his beloved daughter, Prince lovingly brought her home in a white stretch limousine. He had carefully prepared a beautiful Disney-themed nursery, complete with a Disney crib, cradle, stuffed animals, mobile, and baby memory book. Prince welcomed his daughter into a multi-million dollar modern townhome that he had rented specifically to provide a loving, comfortable, and memorable beginning to her life.
For Prince and his family, the birth of Kaitlyn remains forever intertwined with the faith, hope, joy, and blessings they experienced during their unforgettable encounter with Saint Pope John Paul II at World Youth Day 1993

A Legacy of Faith, Service,
and Community Leadership
Prince Jordan Tyson comes from a family with a longstanding tradition of faith, ministry, public service, and humanitarian outreach. As a P.G.K. - “Preacher's Grandchild” - and the son of a P.K. - “Preacher's Kid” - he was raised in an environment grounded in compassion, personal responsibility, and service to others.
These early values helped shape his lifelong commitment to charitable work, civic participation, volunteerism, humanitarian causes, and community leadership.
Over several decades, Prince has volunteered with, donated to, participated in, observed, or supported a broad range of charitable, religious, civic, governmental, and community-based organizations throughout the United States and internationally.
A Lifetime Dedicated to Service
For Prince Jordan Tyson, charity and public service have never been about recognition, status, or personal gain. They represent the continuation of a family legacy built upon faith, compassion, sacrifice, and a responsibility to strengthen the lives of others.
Through volunteer service, philanthropy, civic engagement, public advocacy, emergency response, and humanitarian assistance, Prince has remained guided by one enduring principle:
